Greatest Spot in county,
say pub experts
A DURSLEY pub has won a coveted county title for the second year.
The Old Spot Inn, on Hill Road, has been rewarded for serving up the best pints of beer and plates of home-cooked food in Gloucestershire.
The pub has been named Gloucestershire CAMRA pub of the year again after scooping the top title last year.
The Old Spot will now be entered in the South West region al awards in June and if successful, the pub will compete for the national pub of the year title.
Landlord Steve Herbert said: "Winning the Gloucestershire title is what it is all about really - that is where our target is.
"This is great news and the award is a credit to the staff. I have a great team behind the bar and most of them have been with me since I started here six years ago." -
