"The Old Spot Inn is a great example of how successful a well-run community pub can be."
Julian Hough, CAMRA's Pubs Director.

Welcome to the Old Spot Inn website.
The "Spot", described appropriately by the landlord Steve Herbert as "A Pub of a Thousand Locals", is set in the beautiful Cotswolds,
actually on the Cotswold Way as it passes through the town of Dursley and is a popular watering hole for walkers. The Old Spot is friendly, deeply traditional and one of the must-visits of the county. This 100 year old free house, named after the Gloucestershire Old Spot pig, has been sympathetically restored by its owner, Ric Sainty.
Come inside the site and enjoy some of the flavour that makes this traditional little boozer what it is. The intimate atmosphere is enhanced by log fires and adorned with plenty of brewery memorabilia.
Better still, why not pay us a visit, you'll be greeted with courtesy and efficiency and it probably wont take you long to fit in amongst the locals as if you'd always been there.
Steve, Lawrence, Robbie, Nancy, Tom, Ollie, Natalie, Tom, Brigid & Belinda!
As well as Uley's Old Ric, named after the owner, we nomally have at least 8 guest Real Ales on at any given time, mainly from micro breweries, served in five separate drinking areas. We also have a good selection of fine Wines as well as our famous Whisky collection.
If you're feeling hungry, try one of our home cooked meals or a light snack from our food menu and relax in the charm that graces this pub. The wholesome menu is available between 12pm and 3pm seven days a week.
The secluded garden offers a good sized covered and heated area and a separate patio area for those of you who'd like to take a breath air outside.
On the Cotswold way, this convivial local is the "CAMRA's National Pub of the Year 2007" and multi award-winner conveniently stands opposite a free car park.
