 Old Ric. 12.07.08
It is with great sadness that I have to announce the passing of Ric Sainty on Wednesday, 16th July, 2008 at 10:15am local time,
while holidaying in France with his best friend of over 30 years, Chas Wright. He died of a heart attack, doing one of the things
he loved most - and was good at - having a good time!
Old Ric, one of the best loved and most respected of pub landlords, could charm anyone with his good nature, humour and tremendous presence.
Ric was somebody whose company you always enjoyed.
Known, loved and respected the trade over, he's headed to the great alehouse in the sky.
A true friend and a true gentleman, he touched so many hearts.
Our thoughts are with his family and many friends at this sad time.
If you'd like to add your thoughts, memories or condolences, please do so using the special thread on the forum.
Feel free to upload any photos you may have to accompany your stories (keep them small!)
